About this trip

As the Earth begins to awaken, and the moon changes signs, we can use the opportunity and symbolism to give ourselves permission to awaken into our own connection to ourselves,  our bodies and the nature around us. Setting intentions for the year ahead and cultivating a somatic practice.

Join Mercy for this transformative Somatic Awakening Retreat. A rejuvenating experience, centered in reconnecting you to your body, in celebration of the Spring Equinox!

Set in a peaceful, nature-filled environment, this retreat invites you to practice orienting to the now, through the 5 senses, awakening and reconnecting to your body, as we transition into a season of renewal and growth.

Aldermarsh sits at the south end of Whidbey Island a short distance from the Clinton Ferry Terminal, in the beautiful marshland of the Maxwelton Valley. Whether you are exploring the 5 acres of marshland,  sitting in stillness or soaking in the Japanese tub, you will fall in love with the life of the land awakening to Spring.

Through gentle Somatic Yoga, breathwork, and mindful practices, you’ll awaken your inner energy, release deep tension and cultivate self actualization and balance.

Nourish your body with light wholesome meals, nature walks, saunas, Japanese soaks, stillness, and journaling. This retreat is an opportunity to reset, awaken, reconnect, reflect and align with the vibrant, fresh energy of spring. Coming away with some somatic practices as a remembrance of the power we hold, when we maintain a connection with our bodies.
